Dinner with Denny
Last night, my husband and I attended our local Lincoln Day Dinner as we do every year. Our Congressman, Bill Thomas (Chairman of the House of Ways and Means) spoke as well as his good friend and Speaker of the House - Dennis Hastert. The UAE port issue was on the minds of many, of course, but was not addressed during any of the speeches.
